Gulf Conformity Mark (G-Mark) – Gulf Conformity Label

What is G-Mark?

The Gulf Conformity Mark (G-Mark) is a mandatory conformity mark required for products imported into Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries. Managed by the Saudi Standards, Metrology, and Quality Organization (SASO), this process certifies that products comply with the established technical regulations. The G-Mark proves that products meet safety, health, and environmental standards.

Importance of the G-Mark Certificate

The G-Mark certificate is the official conformity mark that enables the free circulation of products in Saudi Arabia. Without this mark, products cannot enter the market. The G-Mark demonstrates that products have been checked for quality and safety, providing assurance to consumers.

G-Mark Certification Process

Manufacturers or importers must prove that their products comply with the specified standards through tests and technical evaluations. Following a successful assessment, SASO or an accredited body issues the G-Mark certificate for the approved products.
